Yesterday I met the man who makes Five Roses tea. I told him I also do.
He makes 400 tons a day. One of his machines bags 15 000 teabags a minute.
He only has one good eye. The other has complete optic atrophy.
He never employs a teaspoon, like I do when making tea. In ‘making tea’ he spends most of his work day staring at his computer monitor.
He asked me if I couldn’t just do an operation to fix his bad eye. I said Well, sadly that’s not possible at present. Maybe one day.
