I refuse to speak at my younger sister Sheila’s 70th opskop. I won’t do it.
I just learned this week from Mother Mary, 97, that she abandoned me to the care of Great Granny Bland just so she could go off and give birth to Sheila!

opskop – unruly gathering with lots of grinning and nodding while thinking, ‘What Did She/He Just Say?’ Also, ‘What’s her name again? I should know it!’ – luckily Sheila an Lou n Richard organised big name badges so you could fib indignantly, ‘Of course I remembered you!’
Actually, I did remember everyone, but wouldn’t have got all names on-the-spot without those great-idea name badges.
I wonder… Can we force Old People to wear big number plates fulltime?
