She was carrying a big soapy bowl of dishes she’d just washed and the big heart-shaped wooden cutting board slid off the top and shattered on the tiles.
We shouldn’t investigate, as we may find the root cause of the mishap being a slack home handyman. Had he replaced the mixer in the scullery sink, Jess may not have being schlepping dishes around in the first place. Moving on…
